This is where you can find all of the archived news that had been previously shown on the Main page. Here you can find the news, updates and topics of old from The Chiller. The news goes from most recent, descending to older entries. This archive will build up over time and is here because it would be inconvenient for the you to scroll up and down an endless page of news. This would be very frustrating, and frustration is the feeling we want to avoid and dont want to promote here, instead it should be relaxed and chilled.
So take a browse through the archives using the page links to different archives, and keep things chilled...

Very busy times in the last week or so. Ive been working a lot to fund my University accomodation and expenses. When not working I've unwinding, spending time with my girlfriend and my friends while I'm home. All this means I've not updated the site with any new things yet. I thought over the holidays I'd have plenty to do, but I had a fairly large update with the winamp skin, which took up a fair amount of time. Anyway, to round up some issues dealing with bandwidth and visitors to the site, Its been ok and The Chiller has been nowhere its daily bandwidth limit. The highest data transfer I've had was a bit over half of my daily bandwidth allowance in the earlier days of the site being launched. I know this website does not have a massive following, but I'm grateful people from all over who do read it and continue to do so. Im averaging around 100-200 hits per month. As long as I maintain over 50 unique hits per month the site will stay active. The more people who visit, the more the site will be updated to entertain the guests. So spread the word and keep things chilled...

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been busy with making a Winamp skin for The Chiller. Its can be found over at the Images section of the website. Its looking really good in my opinion and I'm very pleased with the outcome. It keeps in with the theme of the website and has extra features that can be used in Winamp, make sure you check the Readme.txt file to see what these cool features are. Below is a sample screenshot of the skin.
Not much else to be said for now, I've got an essay to do, after it gets done I'll have some more updates, so I'll leave you there with the skin and you can try it out... Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it...

Finally, my University exams have finished and Im glad of it too. I have my 4 week holiday starting tomorrow, after i do a work placement visit for my teaching course of University. Ive added a few new things - I got talking to an admin of Seed Recordings and decided to link his site, as its really cool and is relative to deep house, which is sort of chilled. Added another 5 new cocktails and 3 more new smoothie recipes, hope you all like them. That's all for now folks so in the mean time, relax, I know after those exams I am...

At last, Ive got one exam down, and one to go on Thursday. Todays track was a track I asked a friend to extend as I felt it was too short, so it gets pride of place on my track of the day. Anyways, back to updates. Ive added a new website link in the Music section. Ive added a new link in the music section and Ive added 5 cocktail recipes and added some more things in the Lifestyle section. I edited the page status bar below the top graphic so that it had a more noticeable fading gradient. That should be enough to engage your interest until next week when I add more content. I will begin work on The Chillers' Winamp Skin during my holidays...enjoy these updates and until next week, go chill...

No Im not dead........Ive just been busy with work for my University exams. Sory for lack of updates but Ill hopefully have some time later this week to add some more drinks suggestions and some more stuff to the Lifestyle section. After the next week or so I have a 4 week holiday from University, so I will be able to update the site a great deal more as Im taking my PC home with me. You can then look forward to lots of new things in each section. So call back in time for some more chill out...

Was working yesterday, so I had to update today. Added 2 new links (Gregvickers.com & Netmusique.com) on the music links page and Online radio page. These are links to a radio show and some forums. The other is to a very good flash website, so make sure you have the Flash plugin before visiting. Ive fixed some of the links in music that were wrong. Ive also changed some layout features to save space on the main page. Ive kept less spaces between the tune of the day etc. Also changed the 'Life' button to 'Lifestyle' to try and catch more attention. Ill have some more new spanky website links in the coming week as well as some new cocktail and smoothie recipies, so stay tuned, but for now, go to some online radio and tune in, chill out...

Nothing much new to add. Ive edited some text errors that have been pointed out, changed font size of news headings (to save space) and have added a new radio stream in the Online Radio section of music, go check it out. Hits are going well and The Chiller hasnt had any major problems. My next update will probably be Monday, if I have time. Looking for some Desktop wallpapers, so send some over...

Since The Chiller has been live, traffic has been ok. I didnt expect a lot of hits and Id say the daily traffic is fair and my 16.7MB limit is coping well. So spread the word of the site. Im glad Im attracting people from a diversity of countries such as Macedonia, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Norway and many more. Hope you enjoy the site and please call back.
I noticed an error with some scripting on the page, which was pointed out. It has since been fixed (thanks Loz) and also I noticed today that the main music page wasn't working properly. It has been fixed, so the site is working the way I want it to. I'm currently looking for some Desktop wallpapers and some more Online Radio streams to add.

I have finally created the whole site from scratch and now, today the site is live, meaning you can now be on your way to some good relaxation. I will also list what tune I like and have been listening to on the days of updates. It may be pure chill out or some other related genre, such as trance or house. The tune I have been listening to mostly today is
Bedrock - Beautiful Strange. This is one of my favourite chilled tracks and you should find it to discover why.
Ive had to deal with some hosting issues Im glad to say that http://www.brinkster.com have a good free hosting service that will accomodate The Chiller. The service has a 500MB traffic limit per month and the daily traffic limit is 16.7MB. If the traffic gets too much, the site is automatically closed for the remainder of that day. Im fairly happy with this arrangement but it means sometimes the site will be down if lots of people visit it. Sorry, but thats the way it will be until i decide if the site is popular enough to be hosted on a payment account.
